QUBITECH

QUBITECH pioneers cutting-edge research at the intersection of quantum technologies and hardware security. Our mission is to develop novel computing paradigms and security solutions that
address some of today’s most complex computational and cybersecurity challenges.

QUBITECH focuses on:
a) creating scalable, energy-efficient quantum-inspired simulators for optimization problems;
b) secure hardware-based trust anchors for edge, far-edge IoT devices as well as Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) nodes;
c) post-quantum cryptographic solutions resilient against emerging quantum threats.

QUBITECH’s vision is to bridge the gap between theoretical quantum science and real-world applications by delivering practical, high-performance solutions. Our work spans experimental quantum-inspired simulators, Physical Unclonable Functions (PUFs), and post-quantum cryptography schemes (design and implementation). We actively contribute to European research
initiatives and industry collaborations, enabling the transition to future-proof, quantum-resistant digital infrastructures.

Role in PiQASO

In PiQASO, QUBITECH serves as a co-technical leader, playing a key role in the development and implementation of the envisioned post-quantum cryptography (PQC) modalities, including the PQC SDK, QR-TCB, and PQC-as-a-Service. Additionally, QUBITECH offers a lightweight, hardware-based SRAM-PUF solution within its portfolio to support the trusted computing base envisioned for use
cases involving edge and IoT devices with extremely limited capabilities—such as bare-metal sensors.
