New paper by TAU published in ACM Computing Surveys

We are happy to announce that a new paper by Hossein Abdinasibfar, Camille Nuoskala, and Antonis Michalas, Tampere University, has been published in ACM Computing Surveys.

The HHE Land: Exploring the Landscape of Hybrid Homomorphic Encryption

Hybrid Homomorphic Encryption (HHE) is a promising response to some of the key limitations of Homomorphic Encryption (HE), combining symmetric cryptography with HE schemes to reduce the communication and computation burden on clients and the storage burden on servers. Despite a decade of progress, improving HHE's usability, performance, and security for real-world use remains an open challenge. This survey provides a comprehensive analysis of the leading HHE schemes, evaluating their performance and security, and makes the accompanying implementation publicly available to support open science and reproducibility.

About ACM Computing Surveys

ACM Computing Surveys is a peer-reviewed quarterly journal published by the Association for Computing Machinery, publishing survey and tutorial articles that guide readers through the state of the art across computer science. It is one of the most highly cited venues in the field.

We extend our congratulations to the TAU team.
